Project Description

This is located off of highway 113, just north of Charleston and south of Midway, Utah in a small park area right off the north end of the bridge that crosses the estuary that the Provo River empties into.  That estuary empties into the Deer Creek Reservoir. A perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.  I was there painting outdoors called Pleine Aire. Painting “plein aire” has its hazards. The first day I was there painting in June 2024, hardly any mosquitos. The next day, there must have been a major hatch.  Even with insect repellent, the mosquitoes had a field day with me.  So I packed up and left.  This painting was done on the second day.  I had to work fast.
